The Mission
The Damuth recruiting team is searching for a result driven Mechanical Project Manager to manage all aspects of turnkey projects with HVAC emphasis. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver who will have direct responsibility for project execution including collecting and monitoring job costs, managing subcontractors, and leading a team of technicians on the job site(s).
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Required- 3 years of operational and/or financial leadership experience within the HVAC/construction industry
- Required – 5 years related contracting experience (a Minimum of (10) Projects >$250,000 each)
- Required- Extensive Project Management experience in the mechanical field/trade
- Required- Familiarity with the design and operation of mechanical systems, equipment replacement and mechanical/electrical subcontracting
- Required – Experience of HVAC equipment installation
- Preferred- OSHA 10 Certification

- Ability to pass drug screening
- Ability to pass formal background check
- Ability to prove U.S. Employment eligibility
- Valid Driver s license and good driving record required
- Mobility within the office and on jobsite
A Day in the Life
You will maintain processes and procedures such as; planning and analyzing assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications. You will control expenses by monitoring assigned project budgets. There will be a consistent workload such as preparing sub-contractor request for quotation s (RFQ) including; scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, and billing schedule of values. You will also be responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction. Other responsibilities may also be assigned.
