Job Purpose:
TMF Group is committed to offering a world class service with a focus on client specific needs to deliver an optimal global solution. A key part of TMF’s Global Business Services for multi-jurisdictional clients involves the process of ‘on boarding’ a new client and to coordinate the transfer responsibility to the TMF Group.
We are looking for an AMERICAS based Project Manager to support the management and delivery of Global Service OnBoarding (Transition) Projects and Programmes. Reporting to the Head of Program and Project Management, the successful candidate would have experience in delivering global client transition projects based around contractual service agreements. Fluency in English and Spanish is a requirement , Portuguese is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver all Global OnBoarding Projects and Programmes in line with recognised best practice methodology (managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting), where the successful implementation of service resource skills and processes are critical to project success and enabling the TMF contracted Services to be delivered to the client.
- Manage organisationally complex work, mitigating risk from the start through to life of service offering
- To take full responsibility for the management of all the OnBoarding transition team including project management resource, internal subject matter expert or technical resource, 3rd party suppliers, account team members and client stakeholders
- To interface with Strategic Partners or 3rd party suppliers, involving agreement, planning, timelines and quality of deliverables
- Produce relevant global and local project plans to manage interdependencies
- Ensure strict commercial change control to manage deviations
- Adhere to relevant escalation processes to escalate resource issues, delayed project phases, missed deadlines and other planning issues
- Ensure project milestones are agreed and published and that invoices are raised with reference to these dates and/or on completion of deliverables
- Ensure products and services delivered within the OnBoarding Project are within time and budget constraints and meet the required level of quality
- Monitor the programme/project ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented
- Review the outcomes of the OnBoarding Project to determine any corrective actions that could be taken to improve future delivery in terms of cost, quality and customer satisfaction
- Support Practice Head with initiatives aimed at improving and promoting the HRP global on-boarding practice
Key knowledge and Qualification:
- Proven experience and understanding of commercial contracts and SOW’s and delivering transition projects in line with the obligations therein.
- Senior level of Project experience and commercial understanding. A Project Management qualification would be advantageous
- Methodical and consultative approach in supporting our clients and local teams
- Commercial awareness with the ability to solve problems and develop solutions creatively and pragmatically whilst seeking guidance when necessary
- At least five years of experience from working in the Service Project and Program delivery environment
- Experience of managing, direct or matrix, project managers, technical resource and other resource assigned to a Service Transition
