Louisiana Account General Manager

The Louisiana Account General Manager (AGM) is responsible for DXC public sector business, both operationally and strategically. The role has a particular focus on the success of our key client (Department of Health), and an overall commitment to digital transformation, enabling Louisiana to serve it’s people more effectively.

Essential Job Functions

Focal point of accountability for delivering on client commitments, driving service excellence in account delivery, complying with service level agreements, and improving process maturity
Develops and maintains relationships with senior client executives up to and including the Governor, legislative leaders, executive management, and operations management
Responsible for contract management and financial management of contract performance
Collaborates with sales resources to define and pursue DXC Louisiana public sector business development strategy, promote innovation and growth to meet the changing needs of the client, and to leverage DXC’s service offerings and digital transformation capabilities

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university
At least seven years of full-time experience in IT management; with at least four of those years of management experience related to commercial or public sector healthcare industry experience preferred
Experience with IT services business development and delivery

Skilled in financial management
Executive level presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent relationship building skills to interact with customers and team members
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
Ability to work independently and as part of a complex matrix typical of large IT services firm
