Note: While the corporate office is located in the Atlanta Suburbs, candidates that are not from the area will still be considered, as long as they’re close to a major airport.
The Role –
The Regional Director of Sales & Marketing is a key position within the corporate hospitality management structure responsible for managing hotel sales managers and proactively soliciting appropriate business opportunities through a combination of tele-prospecting and direct sales to achieve hotel revenue goals, especially for properties without sales managers.
Duties and Responsibilities –
- Meets sales goals as outlined by the President for designated hotel properties.
- Conducts and plans sales activities and strategies.
- Reviews weekly sales call reports turned in by sales managers, and reporting successes to the corporate team.
- Maintains detailed account files.
- Responsible for development and execution of action plan outlining planned sales activities.
- Must be able to quickly become knowledgeable of assigned market.
- Responsible for third party requests such as Hotel Planner and Brand RFPâs.
- Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to maximize revenue.
- Effectively develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base.
- Helps to build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.
- Creates customer correspondence as required (sales agreements, proposals, etc).
- Ability to understand, execute and support Brand Standards and Brand Service Culture.
- Excellent written, verbal and telephone sales skills.
- Basic software knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc).

- Previous hotel sales experience
- Must have reliable transportation and can travel to the properties each week. (Travel expenses reimbursed)
