Director of Finance

• Responsible for all financial reporting matters including local statutory, IFRS, US GAAP and tax matters. Leads the month end closing process to ensure timely and compliant reporting. Maintains ledger integrity and ensures financial compliance with all applicable GAAPs, laws and regulations.
• Be Responsible for setting direction for the improvement, implementation and general maintenance of the finance systems and process that support multiple functions.
• Support for acquisitions in North America
• Develop great business understanding and regularly interact with all Business Partnership to ensure full alignment between business and controllership requirements and providing guidance as required.
• Actively interacts with external stakeholders such banks, auditing firms and tax/ finance authorities.
• Drives “best in class” Credit and Collection management.
• Motivate and develop team with sound technical capabilities

The Successful Applicant

• BA or BS degree in accounting or equivalent with a CPA or similar accounting qualification. Extensive relevant experience and substantial supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of accounting and finance, tax and treasury including technical aspects IFRS, US GAAP, China GAAP, local statutory reporting requirement.
• Proven capability to build and lead high-performing teams. Must have lead the function in expansive business, recruiting, developing, retaining high-performing Finance and Accounting professionals, and establishing robust systems and procedures.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, biotech would be an advantage;
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-driven with high levels of integrity, excellence and teamwork
• Strong, proven business partnering mentality; has the maturity and awareness to strike a balance between facilitating and challenging the business.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
