Job Description: This role is responsible for leading the workforce analysis efforts and employee engagement activities supporting the L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business segment. Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage workforce planning efforts for L3Harris engineering implementing consistent processes across all business sectors and divisions within the SAS business segment.
• Collaborate with the Sector Chief Engineers and Functional Engineering Directors to ensure forecast and staffing needs are accurately captured for the SAS business segment in the staffing tool.
• Lead the development of dashboards with the Engineering IT organization for engineering leadership highlighting the programs resource needs and staffing requirements with detail drill down capability to enable staffing and hiring decisions.
• Work with a cross-functional team (Program Management, Business Development, Finance, IT, Engineering, etc) to develop future resource needs and staffing strategies.
• Support the employee engagement activities across the company to attract and retain top talent.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement efforts through the workforce planning efforts and fully utilize the tools available.
• Determination of Staffing Forecasts, and methods for fulfillment.
• Strategic Development of Engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

• Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Continuous improvement and process development experience.
• Project leadership and management/supervisory experience.
• Prior experience working with the IT organization.
• Master’s degree in engineering management or other.
