Senior Vice President, Global Sales

You are an innovative Senior Executive, passionate about the learning and development space, with a demonstrated track record of leading global sales to achieve revenue targets. You will be responsible for strategic sales leadership, planning, and managerial oversight of The Myers-Briggs Company’s direct and indirect global sales channels. You particularly enjoy partnering with creative marketing and product development teams within a brand management framework. You will actively participate as a member of the Global Leadership Team, providing relevant sales updates on progress to goal. You will ensure customer feedback from the field on product and service offerings is systematically gathered and reported to guarantee that up-to-date understanding of customer needs and the needs of the broader marketplace informs our future produce development. Our overarching goal is to develop and provide unprecedented solutions that change the development of human potential for the better.

As Senior Vice-President of Global Sales, you will:

1. Global Sales Leadership 85%

  • Partner with President and CEO and Global Sales Leadership Team to create the vision and strategic direction for global sales, both directly through The Myers-Briggs Company’s owned and operated entities, and indirectly through The Myers-Briggs Company’s international distribution channel.
  • Lead global sales leaders to ensure revenue and other team targets are achieved including customer acquisition and customer retention. Ensure sales leaders are actively managing their sales teams to target and quickly address any under performance issues to resolution.
  • Lead the managing directors of The Myers-Briggs Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries to ensure targets are achieved for revenue, customer acquisition, and customer retention as well as overall profitability of each office.
  • Ensure strategic metrics are in place that accurately measure team member’s key activities and performance compared to target, which results in consistent revenue growth.
  • Ensure all metrics are tracked within Salesforce across all customer-facing divisions so that accurate reports can be pulled and accurate customer data is available.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Professional Services, and other teams to retain and grow current Most Valuable Customers, Most Growable Customers, and acquire new profitable customers.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Organizational Development to professionally develop staff for high performance and long-term career growth.
  • Establish annual corporate revenue goals and pricing through facilitation of cross-functional Revenue team.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Global Leadership Team, providing regular and relevant sales updates on sales progress to plan.
  • Ensure customer feedback from the field on product and service offerings is systematically provided to marketing and product management for use in product development.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Professional Services, Research and other teams as appropriate to ensure products and services are developed through direct feedback and partnership with customers.

2. Establish, monitor and control annual budget. Revise as necessary. 10%

3. Any other project as assigned by President and CEO, including presentations to key stakeholders and the Board of Directors. 5%

Education Requirements:

  • BA in International Business Administration or related field required; MBA ideal.
  • Multi-lingual capabilities ideal.


Experience Requirements:

  • 15+ years senior level experience with a minimum of 10+years executive level experience in successfully leading Sales leaders and teams globally.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement year over year (minimum of $50 million quota, in both domestic and international markets).
  • Demonstrated ability to build high performance cross-functional sales teams.
  • Proven track record of partnering successfully with marketing and product development to ensure new products are aligned with customer needs to positively impact revenue goals.
  • Experience working with a proven consultative sales methodology.
  • Prior experience overseeing direct and indirect sales channels.
