Restaurant District Manager, Restaurant Multi Unit Manager Position
$40,000 – $50,000 per year, plus bonuses

A large, and growing, multi-unit Subway franchisee is seeking candidates for District Leader positions. We currently operate 20 locations in the Portland, Vancouver, Woodburn, and Salem areas.
The role of our District Leaders is to be a “manager of managers.” Their roles are to develop, direct, and inspire stronger people, performance, and profits throughout diverse areas of our market. And to do so via governance, but also have a “hands on” assistance focus.
Our District Leaders are groomed to be Brand Ambassadors, Talent Scouts, Servant Leaders, Head Coaches, Marketing Gurus, Synergists and a Goal Getters. Yes, we are fans of Jim Sullivan.
We are looking for candidates that can emphasize and focus on the following main areas in multiple locations:
The Guest:
· Ensure store leaders hire nice, friendly, people and educate them on the key areas of the “Every guest, Every sandwich matter” culture.
· Sees the value in developing return guests and coaches their teams on how to provide an excellent guest experience that will ensure guest retention.
· Hold teams accountable for excellence in product quality, consistency, execution, and cleanliness.
· Ensure shops execute all marketing initiatives and rollouts properly so that each guest is provided with the best possible experience.
The Team:
· Ensure that each store has a great Store Leader.
· Focuses on building a positive, healthy, and fun store culture
· Continually educate store teams to develop a “farm system” of Shift Leads, Store Leaders, and District Leaders.
· Develop strong teams. Identify staffing needs. Actively participate in recruitment, selection and development of all Store Leaders and Shift Leads.
· Provide coaching to Store Leaders on: Staffing, Education and Orientation, Communication and Team Member Satisfaction, Rewards/Recognition, and Performance Management.
· Conduct performance reviews, while providing continuous feedback
Profitability:
· Ability to manage, and educate on the management of, Labor Costs, Food Costs, and Controls.
· Educate teams and store leaders on the importance of following all brand product standards and how those relate to profitability
· Educate Store Leaders on the importance of focused team member selection, implementing our education process and how high turnover can affect profitability
· Ability to direct local store marketing initiatives to identify opportunity to drive traffic and build sales.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Lives and can educate the “Every guest, Every sandwich matter” culture.
· Excellent communication skills, including active listening and the ability to ask great questions.
· Is an active learner with a strong work ethic.
· Knows how to problem solve, while getting things done correctly and on time.
· Has the ability to understand and communicate through various communication outlets, so that their team can perform their responsibilities.
· 2 to 3 years of multi-unit leadership in the QSR industry.
· Demonstrated ability to develop strong teams and meet business goals.
· Familiar with MS Office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel
· Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
· Portland/Vancouver area or Salem area resident preferred. We do not offer relocation.
