Job Specifics are as follows:
- Provide excellent customer service at all times to ensure we create a “raving fan” with each and every client
- Follow the “Alair Process” and have a full and complete understanding of the Alair Project Management software
- Maintain constant communication with each client to get timely decisions and approvals for all selections and scope changes. Communicate with clients as needed via phone, email, or text message including weekly status updates every Friday
- Attend and facilitate job progress/status meetings with site managers at least on a weekly basis
- Work collaboratively with all team members including staff, sub trades and market partners
- Create detailed scope of work sheets for all selections for each project
- Be responsible for collecting and managing sub trade and vendor quotes
- Produce, collect and manage subcontractor agreements
- Seek new sub-trades and vendors as needed – maintain a network of tradespersons in the local market
- Monitor project budgets and review with client at billing milestones
- Create, monitor and maintain project schedules. Strive to be on or ahead of schedule on each project
- Ultimately responsible for projects to be completed on time and under budget
- Confirm and order specialty items, fixtures and material (long lead items). Ensure specialty items are ordered in a timely and accurate manner as to not delay the construction process
- Create invoice requests and collect progress payments
- Stay up to date on new building technologies, materials and practices and be familiar with all current North Carolina building codes
- Attend a post completion job evaluation for each project
- Responsible for job site safety, security and cleanliness on a daily basis
- Oversee the safety policy and keep the company and sub trades working within OSHA guidelines
General Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License and late model and dependable automobile
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the construction management field
- We require background checks and drug testing
- Excel/Google Sheets is a requirement and major plus
