Project Manager

Looking for Project Manager experienced in Port Operations. Must have equivalent of ten (10) year’s experience directly related to the performance requirements of a Port Operations contract or shall have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, Marine Transportation, or Marine Engineering. Must have at least five years oil spill response experience and have completed the following: Incident Command Systems (ICS) 100 (on line), 200 (on line), 700 (on line), and 800 (on line). Shall have a minimum of five years marine managerial experience. Shall successfully complete required PQS/JQR within one month of reporting onsite. Must be proficient in the following computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

Required Certifications: Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain DBIDS access card to military installation, Current Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC), Minimum 50 ton license USCG OR License as Operator Uninspected Towing Vessels. Able to complete the following PQS: VAVEDTRA 43606 SIM Basic Boat Coxswain, and NAVEDTRA 43195-D oil Spill Recovery.

Must be able to manage work force, prioritize manning (scheduling) and work performance based on the current needs of the contract. Monitor all subcontractor performance and progress and provide regular updates to management. Track changes in SOW. Draft and implement SOP’s. Must be a able to read and interpret documents, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, instructions. Must be able to speak effectively in a clear and concise manner before groups of customers and or employees. Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
