    Summary:

    Reviews electrical, software and control drawing documentation for content validation to ensure system functionality is inline with the as design and customer specification. Review governing specification to ensure design compliance. Prepares and maintain schedules for the entire project, develops and review project baselines, monitor and track progress. Support the project(s) in all other aspects of scheduling, design, analysis and special studies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
    • PMP certification desired or the ability to attain one within one year of hire.
    • A minimum of three years’ experience in engineering and scheduling/reporting of projects.
    • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, develop schedules, project updates and read blueprints.
    • Exemplary verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, customers, etc.
    • Strong attention to detail and follow-up
    • Must have experience in presenting in meetings and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with EVMS
    • Knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality system

    Responsibilities:

    • Review of Electrical, Control and Software documentation. Provide feedback as necessary
    • Generation of documentation necessary for solid communication between external and internal stake holders
    • Develop full Critical Path Method logic-generated baseline schedules for projects.
    • Perform monthly progress updates and create target comparison and periodic look-ahead schedules. Monitor and track progress at detailed and summary level.
    • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
    • Develop and update cost and/or resource loaded schedules with the ability to understand resource capacity and utilization for all internal and external resources i.e. field, mechanical engineering, controls, software, project management.
    • Participate in all project schedule reviews as required at Operations Review Meetings or other sessions.
    • Participate in Business Development and business unit marketing activities in the development and preparation of proposal presentations, including developing preliminary bar chart schedules and staffing utilization profiles charts.
    • Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and jobsite staff.
    • Conduct schedule and Work-In-Place reviews.
    • Provide weekly status updates to Post and Parcel Team.
    • Interact with project staff and customers to schedule in scope work and identify any out of scope activities.
    • Effectively communicate schedule issues, risks and conflicts.
    • Identify schedule related problems which arise during project execution and provide
    • Creation and release of project Work Breakdown Structure with approved budgets.
    • Creation and maintenance of project Integrated Master Schedule.
    • Facilitate internal and customer weekly team meetings/telecons with documentation of minutes and maintenance of Action Item Lists.
    • Achievement of NRE Cost, Design to Cost, and Schedule performance against budget for assigned projects.
    • Review and creation of material and/or labor plans and cost reports.
    • Resolution and coordination of project cost, schedule, and technical performance issues.
    • Monitor and control of project scope.
    • Escalation of issues or risks that cannot be resolved at the project team level.
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction for assigned projects.
    • Expected to achieve: * Project expenditures within 10% of budget. * On-time delivery of major milestones within 2 weeks of baseline.
    • Aid in the early detection and mitigation of risks.
    • Actively participate in team meetings, to provide constructive recommendations and initiate actions to support program goals

    • Limited travel for this position (10-15%)
