WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage third-party reimbursement analysis.
- Direct assigned staff in identifying and prioritizing required tasks.
- Assist staff in meeting deadlines and monitor the department’s quality plan.
- Review and analyze all information generated in the reimbursement area for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Identify areas that should be pursued to optimize reimbursement from third party payors and recommend changes to the reimbursement processes as identified.
- Analyze, review, and prepare annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
- Analyze, review, and prepare information for all third party payors for Franciscan Alliance campuses in order to evaluate monthly provisions.
- Maintain financial DRF rate profiles and monitor changes in reimbursement.
- Audit DRG calculator by comparing computed rates in the billing system to rates paid by Medicare and Medicaid.
- Assist the independent auditors in their annual review of the third party reimbursement area.
- Complete analysis related to third party reimbursement area related to the compilation of the Hospital’s annual operating budget.
- Assist the Administrative Director of Reimbursement in preparing the Hospitals’ strategic planning module.

- Follow well-defined instructions and comply with regulations, standards and procedures.
- Knowledge of third party reimbursement and cost report preparation.
