We are currently looking for a Manager, Content Acquisition to join our OnDemandLatin team, who will be a key member of the team responsible for licensing content from major studios for digital streaming to the global ODK audience. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of deal negotiation, execution and management with major studios in the US and Latin America. We are looking for creative and diverse individuals who are passionate about redefining content through innovation, unconventional thinking, and embracing fun!
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in all aspects of negotiation (financial analysis and forecasting, contract drafting, security requirements, amendments)
- Quickly develop a deep understanding of ODK Media’s community and culture in order to consultatively communicate our value proposition effectively with major studios and content providers
- Represent acquisition team’s interests across the company (operations, legal, finance, business intelligence/reporting, content marketing) on a regular basis and as needed on a project basis
- Manage and evaluate external accounts through performance tracking and relationship cultivation to grow each account’s business
- Communicate market trends and industry shifts, including implications for programming strategy and the overall business
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5-7 years of work experience is required with at least 2 years of negotiation/sales experience
- Ability to manage and process detailed information while keeping perspective on the bigger picture
- Bilingual English & Spanish
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally
- Proficient using: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience in market analysis, competitive analysis and strategic thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BA in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, or other related fields strongly preferred
