Growth & Acquisition Manager
We’re looking for a growth & user acquisition manager on our product growth team to help us manage the growth of our college student userbase. College students today are immunized against normal growth tactics, so we’re looking to have someone join us and run with some of our non-traditional growth strategies, tactics and experiments. From there you’ll have the freedom to develop new and unique ways to run growth projects and processes!
If you’re good at growth or acquisitions already, this role will give you the freedom and resources to tackle growth problems in a novel way – all while helping students from all universities, colleges and backgrounds gain career opportunities at top firms.
As a Growth & Acquisition Manager at InsideSherpa you will:
- Talk to many users across various geographies, deriving insights on how we can acquire more students like them
- Run consecutive growth & acquisition experiments
- Work with engineers to release, analyse and track these growth experiments
- Work with engineers to design and release these unique growth-focused products
- Work across various mediums: facebook, on-campus, phone, SEO and others The ideal candidate:
- Can think through first principles of customers & growth, where they are, what they want, how we can get in front of them in their lives
- Will be comfortable in designing and executing growth experiments that don’t fit the standard mould (e.g. doesn’t just fall back onto paid ads, or SEO)
- Will have had (1.5 years+) experience at another technology startup working on growth and/or acquisition
