Thirsty Monk is hiring for a lead position to serve as Executive General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing. This role reports direct to the CEO, and will have full responsibility for connecting the company vision and direction with sales and marketing efforts, and connecting them to the bar and brewery locations. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the individual bar managers at all locations, and offering them the hands on support to further their professional growth.
Ideal candidates will have experience running multi-unit bars or restaurants, experience with driving sales growth and leading marketing efforts towards that goal, experience with leading a diverse team from back of house to front of house to marketing personnel, and familiarity with brewery sales for both on and off premise.
This is a very entrepreneurial position and ideal candidates would have either owned their own establishments in the past or have high level management experience from past employers. This is also a very hands on position with plenty of time required at the bars in addition to our corporate office.
Thirsty Monk operates breweries in Asheville and Denver, CO, taprooms in Asheville, Denver, and Portland, OR, and cocktail bars here in Asheville.
