    HighPointe Services in Centennial is looking for a Disability Services Compliance Manager to join our management team. The position will be the front line in making sure the organization complies with all state Medicaid guidelines for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) day programs and that Best Practice guidelines are being followed. The Compliance Manager will find and attend meetings to stay up to date on all regulations and implement any new changes to the organization with substantial staff training.

    Purpose:

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    The person must be able to demonstrate the ability to be results driven with the flexibility to adjust to multiple demands and shift priorities with a sense of urgency. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintain current knowledge of our program regulatory and organization Best Practice requirements to ensure accurate quality assurance review.
    • Conduct quality assurance reviews, generate reports, and identify desirable corrective and preventative actions.
    • Conduct quality assurance checks and audits on a consistent and timely basis.
    • Follow organization procedures for completing various program quality assessment audits.
    • Complete follow-up of Quality Assurance audits on a timely basis.
    • Investigate and resolve compliance concerns, issues or violations.
    • Establish and maintain corrective action plans and follow up to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
    • Collaborate with management to review and resolve compliance concerns, issues or violations.

    · Communicate with program managers to answer questions regarding program requirements

    • Keep up with regularly changing rules and regulations and ensure understanding and implementation throughout the organization.
    • Attend CCB compliance trainings to maintain current knowledge of area program regulatory and organization Best Practice requirements to ensure accurate quality assurance review.

    · Review the client files within the time frames outlines in the QA schedule

    · Communicate in written form regarding the deficiencies found in the client files.

    • Provide training for programmatic staff when requested.
    • Maintain required training per organization guidelines and policy.

    · Conduct on the job QMAP evaluations and on-site audits of QMAP staff and medical records

    · Meet with Nursing staff weekly to maintain staff medical training

    · Conduct daily, weekly and monthly medical audits

    · Complete other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

    · Strong time management skills

    · Close attention to detail

    · Ability to work alone while working with a sense of urgency and prioritizing multiple demands and meeting deadlines

    · Must have a working knowledge of the requirements of the Medicaid IDD regulations for day programming

    · Minimal travel to CO program sites

    Training/Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human services related field
    • Two years working with people with developmental disabilities and their families or a combination of education and experience.
    • Experience conducting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities preferred.
    • At least one-year experience as Case Manager with a thorough knowledge of human service program regulatory requirements for assigned area(s) or 3 plus years of experience in quality management.

    Compensation:

    $35,000-$40,000 annually, based on experience
