Day Program / Vocational Manager

Description:
Integrated Life Choices is seeking a detail oriented, team building leader for a Day Program / Vocational Manager position to manage staff and vocational programming at a Colorado Springs, CO location. This position ensures proper supports are provided to the persons with developmental disabilities in a vocational work environment.

This includes:

• Supervise staff and day to day activities within the vocational site supervise staff and day to day activities within the vocational site
• Write programs for the individuals being supported
• Ensure proper documentation occurs, and individual programming is meeting requirements
• Teaching life and vocational improving concepts
• Assist with staffing, and attend IPP team meetings;
• Ensure safety of individuals supported
• Provide direct support in the vocational setting and ensuring ILC achieves its promise; ‘To support people in living a fulfilling life’ within an individual’s vocational atmosphere

This position is a working manager and will work in a Direct Support Professional Vocational capacity also.

The ability to problem solve, complete detailed documentation, supervise staff, write programs and reports, interact with a wide variety of people and work a weekend on-call rotation is required.

Requirements:
Qualified applicants will:

• GED or high school diploma
• Be a minimum of 20 years of age
• Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of continuous car insurance is required, reliable transportation
• Be able to successfully complete and pass all background checks including: DMV, and CAPS background check, criminal checks and references.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities
