Assistant Market Manager

The Assistant Market Manager role at Valet Gourmet is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company at an early stage. We are literally changing the way people spend their time, and this demanding position is the local, “on the ground” foundation from which we grow our local markets.

This analytical role exists to work directly with Valet Gourmet’s Market Manager to facilitate all things local: partnerships (both driver and restaurant partners), marketing promotions, and customer relationship development.

The position requires a unique combination of leadership, organization, data analysis, strategic partnership development, and strong relationship management. This position comes with incredible advancement opportunities, and we fully expect that the successful candidate will be our next Market Manager.

WHAT YOU’ll DO

• Energetically drive Valet Gourmet’s goal of sustaining a world-class workplace by aggressively promoting and defending our company culture.
• Develop and maintain healthy relationships with all local restaurant and delivery driver partners. Process all paperwork, onboarding, orientation, menu updates, and other administrative tasks for local restaurant and delivery driver partners.
• Use existing data to develop, track, and improve specific target metrics and processes within the “supply” side of our local operation.
• Assist Valet Gourmet’s Market Manager in customer relationship management, marketing, and other specific localized market needs.

WHAT YOU NEED

• The successful candidate will understand and identify with our six Core Values – this is first on the list for a reason.

• Bachelor’s degree in business management (or related field), OR a least one year of proven, successful management experience in a fast-paced business setting. Not quite there yet? Check out our Customer Logistics Coordinator position and work your way up!
• A strong problem-solving background with emphasis on decision-making, time-management, and attention to detail.
• Moderate to advanced computer literacy with a focus on office & scheduling software, web browsing, CRM software, social networks and other necessary applications on multiple platforms. Must love networking, learning from others, and implementing changes & new ideas frequently.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
