Position: Vice President Sales and Business Development

Deluxe Modular is establishing a new standard for the way the world builds! We are seeking a Vice President of Sales and Business Development based in our New York office to lead sales growing organization.

Position Summary:
The Vice President Sales and Business Development will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer and be an important member of Deluxe Modular’s senior management team with responsibility for providing leadership and management oversight for the sales and business development initiatives. The Vice President of Sales and Business Development will interact with all of the company’s key stakeholders, including operating management, senior executives, clients and media.

This role is based in New York, NY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Deluxe Modular’s sales and business development
  • Advance the function of sales and business development marketing in the long-term success of Deluxe.
  • Ensure the inside and outside sales and business development team drives new lead generation and opportunity while deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Lead/Build/Enhance the inside and outside sales teams.
  • Ensure alignment of Deluxe’s digital marketing program/sales and business development with high- level business objectives.
  • Oversee opportunities to advance Deluxe Modular’s brand, building both awareness and understanding of the Deluxe story.
  • Develop new lead generation initiatives.
  • Collaborate across company departments.
  • In cooperation with Marketing, develop the event strategy with a focus on trade shows and define plans for follow-up and client development efforts.
  • Develop with Marketing programs that drive mindshare and generate demand in the key market segments through specific targeted market events and marketing materials.
  • Plan, develop and cultivate new and existing relationships with key industry groups, associations, and forums.
  • Advocate and develop the role of engaging storytelling, effective media relations and quality communications.
  • Support the team to deliver best-in-class creative executions for varied channels and diverse audience segments.
  • Work with your team and key stakeholders to ensure marketing spend reflects strong ROI on all sales and business development related activities.
  • Develop with Marketing and staff a Customer Experience Excellence Program to ensure our clients have best in class experience.

Key Experience & Education:

  • 8+ years of relevant sales and business development marketing leadership ideally in a B2B,

Commercial Construction environment.

  • Direct leadership experience sales and business development experience.
  • Sales analytics and forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of the impact of client experience on brand throughout the entire client journey.
  • Thought leadership along with Marketing regarding client experience excellence.
  • Track record of leading and scaling a profitable, multi-disciplinary sales and business development teams, working in close collaboration with marketing communications.
  • Ability to attract and retain key inside and outside sales and business development team members.
  • Deep client insight, especially understanding the value drivers critical to client success and client retention.
  • Experience driving results at scale, with focus on KPIs, financial metrics to drive growth, predictability, repeatability and scalability.
  • AEC industry and B2B sector experience an asset.
  • Bachelors/Master ‘s degree in Sales, Marketing & Communications; Construction Management,

Architecture or relevant work experience.
