The Vice President, Human Resources will serve as an executive-level trusted advisor to senior leadership in aligning the HR Business Partner function to the broader HR and organizational strategic goals. The VP, HR will identify and lead strategic, growth and operational initiatives in close partnership with the President of Optima Health and other senior leaders within the health plan.The organizationÂżs strategic growth plan includes a strong focus on expanding through organic and inorganic growth. It is critical that the VP, HR develop strong relationships with senior leaders and work in partnership to develop and implement progressive HR initiatives, systems, processes, best practices, and support to achieve business and service objectives. This will involve working closely with others in the HR function to build highly effective HR strategies and services.Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, the Vice President, Human Resources will join a dynamic team of 180 human resources professionals, and will be responsible for HR Business Partner oversight of Optima Health, which is approximately 1800 associates and growing.
A key strategic relationship will be with Dennis Matheis, President of Optima Health and Senior Vice President of Sentara Healthcare.
