Overview:[

The Coordinator is responsible for proactively leading the growth and implementation of Telehealth services across the ARH system. He/She coordinates all clinical, technical, business and regulatory activities around Telehealth services. The Coordinator is responsible for developing business plans for new Telehealth opportunities, implementing new areas of clinical Telehealth utilization, project planning, identifying resource requirements, monitoring performance metrics, and reporting accordingly. This position will serve as the liaison between department leadership, legal staff, medical staff, IT, operational personnel, and consultants.

]Responsibilities:

  • Manages, oversees, and facilitates all clinical, technical, business and regulatory activities.
  • Leads the development of current services and expansion of Telehealth. Develops and implements new areas of clinical utilization.
  • Identifies budgetary source of funding for each project and develops business plans.
  • Develops and manages project plans: including key deliverables and resource requirements
  • Develop and monitors performance/outcome metrics and conducts analysis of existing Telehealth services. Makes recommendations to manage for alternative methods to enhance efficiencies, reassess the programs’ strategic directions, productivity, improved process performance and capital utilization. Tracks utilization of Telehealth encounters.
  • Monitors compliance with regulatory agency standards and requirements. Develops and maintains policies and procedures that ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Keeps abreast and is knowledgeable of applicable regulations and funding opportunities as well as standards to aid staff in achieving compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Develops, evaluates and manages budget
  • Works closely with vendors with all aspect of Telehealth services provided at various ARH locations.
  • Assists in the coordination of Telehealth services planning through active participation in clinical and outreach planning activities
  • Collaborates with Medical staff and patients to facilitate safe and effective clinical consultations. Provides training to clinical staff in the proper use and operation of Telehealth specialized clinical equipment and accessories in order to facility successful clinical consultations.
  • Works closely with Human Resources and employees to offer Telehealth options for employees within the ARH community.
  • Works closely with Outreach program to provide Telemedicine exposure to patients, families, communities and clinic staff. Works with other Telemedicine programs to evaluate effective methods of clinical cooperation.
  • Schedules site visits with appropriate clinical and operation management across the ARH system
  • Works closely with Design and Construction and other contractors to ensure optimal design and room layout
  • Performs supervisory functions by interviewing, selecting and provident training for new staff.

Qualifications:


Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical area, Business or Information Technology or Communications preferred.


Minimum Work Experience:
Previous experience in Telehealth preferred.
