]Job Summary:[
SHI International is looking for a Sr. IT Project Manager to assist in the management and delivery of high-complexity IT projects to ensure their successful outcome for all parties. The role will require someone that has demonstrated the knowledge of:
- Solid understanding of requirements definition, work breakdown structures, scheduling, planning, business process analysis, project change control
- Direct management of all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with matrixed IT partners utilizing multiple process models, including but not limited to SCRUM and Agile
- Management and planning of all project components including (but not limited to) scope management, development and management of work plans.
- Rigorously managed scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost and quality parameters
- Validating financial forecasts and providing on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
- Developing communication plans and effectively communicating in both verbal (e.g. day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written (status reports, change requests) form
- Serving as a subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives
- Ensuring that sound practices are taking place – suggesting new processes where feasible, and providing feedback for efficiencies.
- Developing the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan and related project management artifacts
- Defining and tracking project milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
- Accurately assessing, managing and reporting risks and issues
- Publishing periodic project status reports

Qualifications:

PMP Certified

Has at least 7 years of proven IT Project Manager experience

Working knowledge of IT concepts: security, servers, storage, cloud computing, and disaster recovery

Strong people management and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in MS office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Previous experience in IT delivery and operations
- Bachehelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
- Written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise and courteous)
- Relationship building skills for project teams, business partners, etc.
- Negotiation skills
- Conflict management techniques
- Meeting facilitation techniques
- Project performance tracking with respect to baseline budget and schedule
- Handling multiple projects with follow through to a successful implementation
- Ability to development of detailed project plans to track and report project progress
- Ability to analyze the impact of scope changes on budget and schedule
