NCI:
As a BU General manager Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for leadership, growth and operational excellence of a designated business unit. This position is responsible for maximizing individual and team productivity, quality and technical skill development to ensure flawless execution, program and business unit profitability and customer satisfaction. The BU General Manager is responsible for incorporating sound business practices and company policies and procedures to model and hold their teams accountable for them. The BU General Manager is expected to train and mentor staff, actively strategize and set business and performance goals and objectives tied to and supportive of company goals and objectives. He or she will measure outcomes, understand and address market trends, foster collaboration among individuals and departments, model high performance standards, understand and meet customer needs and offer opportunities and support to subordinates to help them improve their professional competencies. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI’s mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

  • Responsible for attainment of both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Assists in preparing assessments of competitors and market analysis.

Digital Transformation Business Unit Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and inculcate review and analysis of business processes, i.e. internal systems; workflows; API’s; user/customer interfaces; business processes.
  • Works closely with clients to develop a digital transformation strategy and framework.
  • Leads efforts to leverage all technologies, including automation and AI services, such as, robotic process automation (RPA), software code refactoring, and machine learning.
  • Fosters team to lead efforts in data analytics and agile software development.
  • Experiments with new digital technologies and drives innovation and collaboration to reskill employees, redesign work processes and drive better decision-making for our customers.

Qualifications:


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
  • At least fifteen (15) years business experience
  • At least ten (10) years progressive program management experience in a government IT consulting environment
  • 7-10 years successful P&L responsibility for an IT division/group
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise strong decision-making capabilities
  • Unquestionable honesty and integrity
  • Demonstrates self-motivation and passion for the business and for customers
  • Ability to lead and inspire future leaders
