The Opportunity
Motili, a division of Goodman, is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Scrum Master role. The Motili Product team is a small, agile team responsible for delivering on the Motili product vision and strategy. As ScrumMaster you will be a pivotal team member for product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders to foster a transparent, enthusiastic, and innovative culture. The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for establishing new accounts and cultivating long-term relationship with customers; as well as, provide strategic planning and direction for the business and marketing of the product or services provided. ]Responsibilities:

  • You will have a deep knowledge and experience of Scrum and Agile practices such that you can mentor teams and leadership on best practices and the “Why” of Scrum
  • Introduce better practices around backlog management, including story writing, requirements breakdown, and story-splitting
  • Have experience in solving problems with delivery and cultural dynamics within environments and contexts (I.e. different sized organizations, co-located/distributed, new product development, legacy product maintenance)
  • Have an appreciation for the basic technical architecture of an enterprise organization, and software development lifecycle when supporting engineering teams
  • Be a strong facilitator for various Scrum events and support all teams with deliverables
  • Build an environment of trust and openness in and around all teams and departments
  • Be a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly

Qualifications:


Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile development process
  • 1+ years as a ScrumMaster
  • Experience leading and facilitating Scrum ceremonies
  • Examples of successfully delivering software products
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Adaptable, enthusiastic, and willing to take ownership
  • Inquisitive, analytical, and creative problem solver
  • Degree in Software development or related field

Bonus points if you have
  • Experience working in-house embedded within product, design, and engineering teams
  • Experience with mobile iOS and/or Android app design
  • Experience with Jira, Sketch, inVision
