Scrum Master (ESE05)
Job Overview:
This position requires a Release Train Scrum Master candidate to help manage and guide the Agile scrum teams from development to deployment of functional capabilities to fulfill customers predefined requirements from the backlogs. The candidate will serve as the servant leader for the Agile scrum teams to ensure clear communication and removing impediments to help the team success in meeting its goals and objectives. The candidate is expected to have a thorough understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and will be able to use the appropriate Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) to drive the Agile scrum teams daily activities.
Position Details:
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens. Candidates must also being willing to be processed for a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
]Responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of components of system.
- Perform requirement elicitation, analysis and functional allocation.
- Conduct systems requirement reviews.
- Develop CONOPS, interface standards, system architectures.
- Perform technical and non-technical assessment and management.
- Perform end-to-end flow analysis.
- Implements operational view, technical standards view, and system and services view for architectures using applicable standards (e.g., DODAF, FEAF).
- Manage multiple projects of variable size.
- Define, plan and manage work packages (WP). Includes defining task, WP duration, WP sequencing, critical path analysis, resource assignment, and input to the Integrated master Schedule (IMS).
Qualifications:
Required Qualification:

A minimum of (8) years of Systems Engineering experience.
- Please note, a Master’s degree in a technical discipline may substitute for two years of experience.
- Please note, a PhD may substitute four years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Agile development methodology experience.
- Experience with software and system lifecycle methodologies (e.g. ISO, CMMI, ITIL).
- Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
Required Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Experience with requirements management tools.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., RSpec, Cucumber, etc.).
Required Certifications:
- DoD 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I required
- Agile software development methodology certification (e.g. SCRUM Master) required
