Village Handcrafted Cabinetry is a family owned and operated custom cabinetry company that has been in business for 3 decades. Our award winning work, unsurpassed customer service and premium install department distinguishes us from other builders and cabinet makers. We are currently looking to add a qualified Project Manager / Designer to our team. Our Project Manager / Designer will be responsible for :
- Lead the custom cabinetry design process, including functional design, customer selections and jobsite measurements
- Working with our sales team, home builders, architects, designers and retail customers
- Manage the production of design approval drawings
- Work hand in hand with in house installation manager
- Manage our business relationship with repeat builders, designers and clients
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- 1 year experience in the design of custom or modular cabinetry preferred however we will train the right candidate
- 1 year experience in cabinetry project management preferred however we will train the right candidate
- Utilizing cabinetry design software (20/20, Chief Architect, Cabinet Vision, Sketchup, etc.)
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Creative
- Problem Solver
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
We offer full-time employment with paid time off, IRA contributions and self-paid medical plan. Qualified candidates must possess the following: valid’s driver’s license, ability to work well in a team environment and a willingness to learn.
