What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Project Manager to bring their A game to help us save the world, one package at a time! We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects. The Project Manager also supports implemented projects and trouble shoots issues as needed.
What you will do:
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the task required
- Research, qualify and communicate with vendors/ suppliers as necessary
- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
- Execute the project according to the project plan
- Monitor the progress of the project, display effective time management, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Establish effective communication to update appropriate staff, internal and external to the organization on the progress of the project
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
- Take ownership and accountability of all project deliverables
- Must be able to communicate issues and delayed timelines effectively
- Travel and face to face customer interactions may be required
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelorâs Degree in a related subject
- Knowledge of project/ program management
- 2 to 3 years planning and/or management experience
- Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, presentation, and email.
- Knowledge of MS Projects and Visio a plus
