Job Summary
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and close projects according to schedule and within budget. This includes planning for resources, negotiating with functional managerâs to ensure resources availability and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party contractors, vendors and consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also lead the definition of the projectâs scope and objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Project Managers at TriCore manage projects using Agile/SCRUM and waterfall methods.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience as defined below.
- Five (5) years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Nine (9) years combination of directly relevant education and/or experience.
- Certification in Project Management
- Experience in the Healthcare field
- Experience in IT operations
- Experience with Agile Project Management and/or SCRUM
- Experience coaching and leading agile/SCRUM teams in a matrix environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation and meeting leader skills
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and facilitation skills
- Self-starter/self-motivated, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision
- Able to prepare and present information in business terms
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be detail-oriented
- Skilled in developing effective partnership relationships with portfolio stakeholders
- Has a flexible approach to change, can work effectively in a variety of situations, constantly seeks improvements and is forward looking
- Experience with remote teams preferred
- Demonstrated track record of running 3+ concurrent projects
