The functional program / sr project manager is responsible and accountable for management of the end to end project delivery cycle; providing strategic and innovative engagement and alignment with key stakeholders; assuring prioritization and funding for the overall projects tied to the Strategic Business Group, are complete and an associated business cased and approval exists. This individual will have abilities to be a functional and tactical leader and can quickly established credibility; proven abilities to manage multiple related projects of all types and has stellar communications and escalation skills. Able to transcend the organization and interact with users and key management on all levels; has a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) credential with experience managing multiple projects and programs, and a practical understanding of portfolio management. Their primary role would be to lead high to critical type projects and programs for the business group Build relationships and partnerships with all levels and management, including the executive Leadership Team; establishing and sustaining high levels of confidence and credibility for the Global PMO and Information Services organizations, and consider opportunities that would add business value. Manage the entire life cycle of multiple projects and programs (initiate, plan, execute, monitor control and close a project), leading the project teams, working with global/regional executives, management teams, business and Enterprise IT teams to ensure project success. Lead project teams (global, virtual, matrix) and know how to effectively apply departmental management procedures and project management processes (including managing stakeholder expectations, communications, budget management, schedule management, performance reporting, etc.) to a project or program. Maintain scope, budget and schedule integrity through direct management of the team and interaction with the Project Sponsor(s), including development and maintenance of project management plan, resource management, cost management and communications management. The project Manager is responsible for proactive performance monitoring and reporting on project scope, time, cost, quality, risks and overall project health.

This is a direct hire role in Charlotte NC – The salary range is $130,000 – $150,000

Required Skills:

1.

At least 5-10 years’ experience deploying Kinaxis RapidResponse + several SaaS

implementations End2End; must be a best in class professional!

Min 12 years in Project & Program Management – PMP/PgMP credentials preferred; must be

best in breed professional!

3.

12+ years in Management Consulting with Fortune 50 or 100 companies doing System

Integration Project or Program Management and Delivery Management; a diverse portfolio of

services/skills

4.

Must have 5 to 7 years direct work experience in a project management capacity

5.

Implementing in an ERP & Supply Chain environment is strongly preferred and highly desirable

6.

Proven experience in strategic planning, critical thinking, visionary, risks and issues

management, conflict resolution, meeting scheduling and facilitations, and change

management

6. Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure and fast pace environment, and ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

7. Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and have strong organizational, analytical, communication, planning, presentation and customer service skills.
