Landscape Design Project Manager (Menlo Park, CA)
Keith Willig Landscape Architecture (KWLA) is growing its design practice. We seek a Project Manager to grow with us. We are a small, busy studio with extensive potential for team members to expand and deepen their experience. And we enjoy, sharing stories and lunches with an architecture firm next door, trips to built environments, lectures, and celebrating Taco Tuesday.
Job Description:
KWLA designs sustainable modern residential landscapes throughout the Bay Area. As a Project Manager in our office, you will participate in the design process, from conceptual design through construction observation, while gaining exposure to the day-to-day operations of a small design practice. For the right candidate, this position presents the opportunity to develop along with the growth of the firm.
The qualified candidate:
– solves design issues creatively and completely
– is able to work independently
– is capable of overseeing multiple projects concurrently
– possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
– is comfortable with and enjoys client interaction
– has experience in all aspects of design and construction documentation
– understands city submittal requirements
– can manage the scope of work, schedule and project budgets effectively
– loves getting into the details and is good at it
– is proficient in AutoCAD and/or Vector Works, Adobe, Microsoft, Excel
– has California native plant knowledge
– is WELO experienced
Applicants must have five years of work experience and either a Masterâs of Landscape Architecture or a five-year Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Environmental Design.
