Position Overview:
This role is a key liaison between the product, marketing, technical, vendor and executive teams. This position develops and executes strategic projects that support Edible’s goals and initiatives, and delivers the projects on time, on budget, and meeting key KPIs.
Key responsibilities include planning activities, resource/vendor alignment, and coordinating execution. This position requires strong project management capabilities, effective communication and collaboration skill, ability to provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution, and deliver results.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in project planning and oversight activities for assigned projects and initiatives. Provide updates regarding project status and release to key stakeholders on a regular basis
- Work directly with client to collect and document requirements
- Describe business requirements in detailed written/graphical form, for the software developers, all changes and/or additions to application functionality that are required for the software to work and satisfy the business requirements.
- Work with the design team to ensure best user experience and technical compatibility of the design
- Leverage Agile, traditional and Hybrid methodologies as deemed appropriate for a given project
- Work on multiple eCommerce projects (for example, software development, infrastructure) with internal/external stakeholders (for example internal development team, third-party hosting vendors store support team, pos development team)
- Manage distributed development teams, Work with offshore development team to plan and execute the business requirement
- Track metrics of team progress, productivity and use the metrics to help the team improve performance
- Identify and resolve project roadblocks proactively
- Managing risks and issues related to projects
- Provide the Project Steering Board with project overview and status
- Owns the release plan
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 to 4 years of experience that covers Project Management Skills.
- Expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration using Jira, Confluence, Teams and other Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work with cross-functional project teams across multiple locations.
- Experience developing system requirements
- Experience managing software development projects
