Preventia Security is looking for a full time inventory manager for our Columbia location. This team member would be solely responsible for all warehouse inventory and individual van inventory of over 20 vans. The candidate we are looking for needs to have inventory management experience and be very proficient with computers, including spreadsheets and an ability to learn proprietary software.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
- Order from multiple distributors daily
- Pull necessary inventory per job and per technician daily
- Ensure all unused equipment is accounted for
- Handle all RMA’s and returns
- Ensure product stock is adequate for key items
- Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
- Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
- Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
- Analyze data to anticipate future needs
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
- Collaborate with department managers and other staff to ensure business goals are met
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour
