The Diversity Recruiting Team at Goldman Sachs is an integral part of the global recruiting organization. With a focus on traditionally underrepresented groups (including but not limited to women, black and Hispanic/Latino people, Veterans, the LGBT community, people with disabilities, Veterans and first-generation college students) the team develops innovative and targeted recruiting strategies, builds relationships with internal and external partners, and cultivates candidates in an effort to provide a robust and diverse pipeline of talent for the firm.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Design, lead and implement campus diversity recruiting strategy across the Americas
- Present to key governing bodies and stakeholders, including regional diversity committees
- Manage Firmwide relationships with non-profit organizations that support underrepresented students, e.g., SEO, Posse, Lime Connect, MLT and others
- Conceptualize and present innovative programming to students on undergraduate and/or MBA campuses, and at the firm
- Attend, host and travel to diversity-focused conferences, events, and meetings to identify top talent
- Serve as an advisor to other members of the campus recruiting community to ensure a diversity strategy is developed across different divisions
- Partner with the University Relations Team to develop campus diversity strategies and programming
- Partner with marketing and our communications team and external organizations to increase brand recognition and market onsite programming
- Serve as an advisor to interns during summer program
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience – 5+ years recruiting experience with a preference of 3+ years focused on diversity and inclusion across recruiting
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to develop relationships with senior professionals and work collaboratively across teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated client focus
- Highly organized and results driven
- Familiarity with candidate tracking systems
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experienced with managing complex processes
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and excellent follow through required
- Familiarity with diversity initiatives and organizations
