J Lee Associates is a turn-key construction provider for the Telecom industry. Major clients include Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, American Tower, Crown Castle and many others. J Lee is currently seeking a full-time telecom/electrical project manager.

Telecom/Electrical Project Manager job description:

  • Bid/Estimate all electrical projects
  • Oversee/Forecast day to day electrical schedule
  • Manage 8-12 field technicians
  • Track all billing, invoices and job efficiency
  • Assist in the design and construction of electrical projects
  • Manage 15-25 projects at any given time that are anywhere from the pre-construction phase to the closeout phase
  • Manage all aspects of electrical construction
  • Manage all utility work including with multiple utilities including work orders, shutdowns, disc/reconnect, fees and design walks
  • Manage all aspects of permitting including, filing, inspections and closeouts
  • Manage all aspects of material deliveries and tracking
  • Generate and track all electrical change orders
  • Assist in the design of electrical systems for clients
  • Manage subcontractors
  • Train field technicians and apprentices

  • Have a clear understanding of the NEC and local electrical regulations

  • Interpret CDs and analyze architectural drawings
  • Manage and deliver high quality electrical installations in a fast paced environment
  • Be creative and solve problems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Driver’s License in good standing
  • 3-5 years of electrical/project management
  • Strong communications skills
  • Electrical license in MA and RI is a plus
  • Experience working within the Telecom industry
  • Experience working with Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, American Tower, Crown Castle
  • Adept in working with AC/DC power, generators, low voltage systems, line voltage systems, 480V,208V, 240V, transformers, lighting, control systems and fire alarm systems
  • Adept in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
