Summary of Role:

We are seeking a detail oriented and efficient individual to manage deliverables needed for the launch and maintenance of our website. This individual must be able to work independently and proactively, while also clearly communicate his or her processes to the team. The right candidate is excited to works with a small team at a boutique hardware and furniture brand. This position is based out of our workshop in Brooklyn Navy Yard and is part-time; we ideally want someone in the office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
-generate and edit content in coordination with SEO goals and business objectives
-input and manage data and assets within our e-commerce platform and inventory system
-liaise with internal resources and our e-commerce agency regarding the launch and maintenance of the website
-produce tearsheets and selling materials
-upload, label and organize photos
-monitor key performance indicators and develop sources of traffic (& the factors that influence it) both on our website and Etsy site: email, SEO, PPC, affiliates, social media, catalogues etc.
Qualifications:
-Techy savvy with a willingness to learn and take direction
-1-3 years work experience in a similar role (this can be in any field)
-A team player that takes responsibility for and completes tasks
-A passion for detail and highly organized
-Comfortable writing and editing
-Familiarity with SEO and using tags and product descriptions
Additional qualifications that are not required, but could help your application:
-Past experience working with woocommerce, shipstation and DEAR inventory
-Knowledge of wordpress content editing / administration
-Graphic design with photoshop/illustrator/indesign or similar
-Image editing with Photoshop or other software
