POSITION SUMMARY
As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the management and direction of an innovative, highly automated Pharmacy Fulfillment facility based at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO. You are responsible for managing quality, cost and service targets along with client-specific SLA requirements. You will manage projects, driving change management and roll out to core pharmacies. Create strategic plans and manage to budget.
What you’ll do:
- Leader of leaders for the day to day activities for a dynamic, high volume team within an innovative pharmacy fulfillment center.
- Use your strategic acumen and critical thinking skills to create and drive your vision to transform the business and culture.
- Cultivate effective and meaningful relationships at all levels within the site and across the enterprise to solve problems and drive efficiencies.
- Bringing your passion for developing people and teams
- Demonstrate your ability to motivate and inspire teams to high performance results
- Apply lean methodologies and use of data to further gain results and problem solve.
What you need to do the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related curriculum preferred or equivalent years experience. MBA preferred
- At least 10 years progressive operations experience in diverse industries
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, project management skills
- Effective at managing change for a large, high producing workforce
- Enthusiasm and passion to meet aggressive goals and targets
- Ability to work cross functionally, organize cross functional teams, deliver business results in often ambiguous situations
- Knowledge of Lean or Process Improvement methodologies and ability to implement continuous improvement strategies (Six Sigma Certification is not required, but desirable)
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to the development of individuals and teams
- Bring your desire to continuously learn and grow personally and professionally
