Our amazing CareNow centers offer superior convenience and quality treatment when you need it most and we are looking for an exceptional Director of Operations to lead operations for our centers in the Austin Market and their dedicated teams. We believe in our team and your ability to help us provide high quality, patient-centered care in the communities we serve 7 days a week.
- Supervises area managers and/or center managers. Oversees the orientation, training and cross training of leadership and staff to ensure that all policies, established practices and standards are followed.
- Participates in HR functions of management including interviewing and selection of leaders and center staff, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations.
- Develops and leads the execution of area and center goals, objectives and key initiatives in support of goals and objectives. In collaboration with the controller, creates and presents Monthly Operating Reviews to Service Line Leadership. Clearly communicates goals and objectives to subordinate leaders and staff.
- Provides Leadership Development opportunities for subordinate leaders. Identifies and mentors potential candidates for promotional opportunities..
- Addresses individual or team performance deficiencies. Handles patient and visitor issues and complaints. Provides feedback and follow-up training to employees.
- Implements programs, practices and leads teams designed to improve operations, staff retention and employee engagement.
- Monitors patient wait times and sees that center leadership creates a work schedule for all center positions. Ensures adequate staffing at all times.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a medical office setting is required.
- 3+ years of experience of supervisory experience in practice management of multiple locations.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Past experience with P&L responsibility and experience presenting financials to leadership.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, strong business acumen and understanding of good business practice. Understands Revenue Cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree in Healthcare Management is preferred.
- Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
