The Senior Director of Franchise Sales plays an important strategic role in the success and growth of our brand. The role will be responsible for creating and leading the implementation of development strategies, goals, and tactics that result in the growth of new or existing franchise markets and entry into new and underdeveloped markets.
The role will have a large impact on company revenue, profitability and be a driver in Russo brand development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible and accountable for prospecting and executing of new franchise relationships
- Consistently identify, cultivate, manage and track new franchise opportunities for Russo
- Regularly call on and build new relationships within the Restaurant industry
- Responsible for sourcing, qualifying and assisting in closing potential franchise partners to join Russo
- Deliver sales results against assigned quota and the development of a sufficient, qualified pipeline of referral sources and members to meet high-growth revenue requirements. Plan and implement strategies to identify opportunities, penetrate new business and expand market share within assigned territory
- Provides recommendations for prioritized new markets to target for franchise growth
- Able to provide contacts/leads for future franchise agreements
- Follow franchise industry through attending events trade shows etc that can aid in securing new candidates for identified growth markets
- Meet or exceed targeted goals for new franchise development
- Provide recommendations for franchise sales marketing and advertising
- Travels to and within regions as required to fully understand market dynamics, isolate new development opportunities and assist new franchisees with specific needs
- Work closely with company leadership to identify and align on the appropriate strategy for driving overall franchise sales performance and orientation processes for each assigned brand
- Collaborate with corporate marketing partners to provide recommendations on lead generation strategies, marketing, and advertising * Provide valuable insight into the competitive marketplace including outside campaigns or promotions to drive franchise sales
- Work on elements of lead generation and intake of prospective franchisees through a mutual Discovery Process, managing all activities from initial contact to the issuance of a Franchise Agreement through opening date
- Work closely with the legal team to adhere to national and local laws pertaining to franchise sales and disclosure information
- Attend franchise trade shows to learn of current franchising trends and to develop new business prospects. Stay current with industry trends in the area of franchise sales

: * Bachelorâs degree in business related field (business, finance/accounting, operations or marketing) Experience: * 7+ yearsâ experience in building and growing sales within successful franchise systems with leading multi-unit retail * Advanced knowledge of franchise development practices with a strong general management, financial and strategic acumen * Extensive experience in development and/or franchising that includes building strategy and establishing new business opportunities, with demonstrated ability to build, supervise and motivate teams to reach objectives * Demonstrated experience in franchise development and franchise sales * Must be an experienced organizational leader, demonstrating great leadership, sales, presentation and professional communications skills Technical or Administrative Knowledge: * Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills * Proven ability to comprehend, analyze, and negotiate contracts * Exceptional verbal, written communication and presentation skills * Ability and willingness to travel extensively as required * Must maintain a high attention to detail * Effective communication skills including group presentations * Combines a confident, self-starting, high performance orientation with a track record that reflects a proactive attitude * Strong Project management skills including organizing, multitasking and budget reconciliation
