Position Details:
- Quality control and performance measurement
- Oversight of Patient Satisfaction Program
- Assistance with strategic planning, risk analysis and accreditation
- Coordinate training program to meet state and CARF requirements as well as identify educational opportunities to improve patient care, safety and staff performance
- Organize executive, advisory board and other meetings
- Participate in monthly provider meetings including Prince Georgeâs County Local Behavioral Health Authority and other interagency meetings
- Participate in networking and business development activities
Requirements:
- Masterâs Degree in health care administration or another social services field
- Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in medical office administration; related experience in mental healthcare a plus
- Excellent time management skills for prioritizing short- and long-term duties
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial and private mental health medical insurance programs
- In-depth operational knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel
- Excellent verbal and written English grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
- Positive, empathetic approach with patients and staff
- Compensation:
- $65,000 – $85,000 a year based on experience
