Position Details:

  • Quality control and performance measurement
  • Oversight of Patient Satisfaction Program
  • Assistance with strategic planning, risk analysis and accreditation
  • Coordinate training program to meet state and CARF requirements as well as identify educational opportunities to improve patient care, safety and staff performance
  • Organize executive, advisory board and other meetings
  • Participate in monthly provider meetings including Prince George’s County Local Behavioral Health Authority and other interagency meetings
  • Participate in networking and business development activities

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in health care administration or another social services field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical office administration; related experience in mental healthcare a plus
  • Excellent time management skills for prioritizing short- and long-term duties
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial and private mental health medical insurance programs
  • In-depth operational knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written English grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
  • Positive, empathetic approach with patients and staff
  • Compensation:
    • $65,000 – $85,000 a year based on experience
