- Ensure the delivery of high-quality program services that are developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate.
- Support State and local licensing regulations, and Little Geniuses LLC policies and procedures.
- Implement a well-organized learning environment with developmentally appropriate schedules, lesson plans, and indoor and outdoor learning experiences that provide adequate opportunities for play, exploration, and experimentation.
- Implementing plans and goals for the program/company.
- Coordinate and supervise daily operations of the program.
- Must be able to develop and follow through with lesson plans and hold teachers accountable.

- Ensure the program setting is open and available to parents during all hours of operation.
- Flexible schedule and must be available for extra hours when needed.
- Participate and facilitate the hiring process. Directly be involved with recruiting and training staff and ensuring they meet all standards.
- Participate in new employee program orientations to become familiar with the companies goals and underlying philosophy and how they are implemented.
- Attend and participate in agency sponsored training and professional development opportunities designed to assist in acquiring and/or increasing the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality, comprehensive services within the scope of job responsibilities.
- Be in charge of development of an individualized Professional Development Plan in collaboration with all staff;
- Be in charge of Little Geniuses LLC Performance Management Cycle which includes individual supervision and evaluations, classroom observations, and team meetings.
- Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed.
- Ensure equipment and classroom facilities are clean, well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Complete required paperwork for the company and proof of meeting State regulations (e.g., monthly reports, attendance, daily sheets, medication, sign-in/out, accident/incident, health & safety, referrals, etc.) and maintain organized individual child and staff files.
- Follow established procedures to protect the confidentiality of children, parents and staff within the program.
- Be a leader and critical thinker, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles.
- All other duties as assigned
Required Education and experience:
- Required: HS Diploma/GED and Infant/Toddler endorsed CDA or Birth-Five FCCPC
- Desired/Preferred Education: AA; BA; or MA in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18+ semester hours in ECE/Child Development
- State mandated 45-hour coursework completion or ability to complete within (90) days of hire
- One (1) year experience working in an early childhood setting with a diverse population of infants and toddlers, ages birth to five
- Certification in First Aid and Adult, Infant, and Child CPR
- Must pass a Level 2 background screening.
- Must have or be willing to get a FL Director Credential
