Overview

The Global Prime Finance Transition Unit (GPFTU) comprises the former Global Prime Finance and Electronic Equities operations. In September 2019, Deutsche Bank signed a binding master agreement with BNP Paribas (BNPP) to provide continuity to the Bank’s global prime finance and electronic equities operations, and to transfer staff, technology and clients to BNPP over time.

This role is for an experienced Project Manager to support the GPFTU with a focus on Conflict of Interest Management over the course of the transaction (Pre-Closing, Post-Closing and through separation, migration and final Integration).

Your Role

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to the development of the Conflict of Interest Framework for the GPF Transaction
  • Support the strategic, analytical, structuring, project management and coordination skills to support the Conflict of Interest Management Workstream and supporting the successful delivery of the GPF Transition
  • Contribute to regular SteerCo, Working Groups, etc. Actively manage project risks, assumptions, issues and decisions. Provide a point of escalation for project stakeholders. Regular Status Reporting to Stakeholder community. Foster strong partnership approach with Businesses and Support Functions. Foster strong partnership approach with Businesses and Support Functions
  • Manage regular status reporting and data gathering cycles, maintain key project documentation. Maintain quality control over material presented to senior management
  • Developing action plans and support the successfully delivery management through to implementation

Skills You’ll Need:

  • You will be expected to operate with a high level of maturity in a dynamic environment, significant experience in financial services or consultancy. Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional and global teams preferred with a focus on change projects
  • Significant experience working on medium to large scale projects in a global environment with a focus on regulatory and risk programs
  • Knowledgeable global financial services industry and good understanding of Investment Banking desirable and knowledge of the current risk and regulatory landscape with a focus on Conflict of Interest Management as it relates to transformation risk associated with the transaction
