HFI Management (“HFIM”) is currently seeking a Communications Manager. This role will be responsible for promoting the organization and team through relevant and informative internal and external communications.
HFIM is the administrative and sales support division of the Brad Hall family of companies. HFIM supports companies in fuel lube distribution, propane sales, retail fuel stations, oil field services farming, fuel transportation and other industries. The family of companies does business in the Western United States and supplies to over 40 states.
The Communications Manager will primarily be focused on:
Develop and design internal and external communication strategy
Ensure messaging aligns with key business strategies and are consistent across all mediums and organizations
Ensure content, message, design, etc. are up-to-date and refreshed often
Develop metrics to ensure programs are effective and providing intended results
Internal Marketing
- Develop, update and manage intranet content and information
- Advertise job openings, employee accomplishments, company successes, etc.
- Ensure organizational initiatives, projects, and changes are successfully communicated to employees
- “Report the score” appropriately for each organization
- Develop effective communication strategies that build employee engagement, brand awareness, and enterprise understanding
- Implement programs to share best practices, new products, and opportunities between the Hall family of businesses
- Support the development and distribution of Company training programs
- Develop and manage Company apparel stores
- Coordinate and oversee Company events.
Social Media
- Develop and implement social media strategy for participating Companies in the Hall family of businesses
- Create and disseminate relevant content to support business efforts and strategies
- Ensure that all social media fits Company culture and reaches target audience
- Support sales and marketing efforts for applicable Companies through social media and other distribution channels
Web Presence
- Manage all participating Company websites
- Oversee the planning, design, development and/or update processes for all applicable sites
- Ensure content, image, and Company message fits culture and purpose for the site
- Implement SEO programs where appropriate
The preferred candidate for the Communications Manager will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- One or more years experience in a related field.
- High level of creativity.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations
- Able to effectively multitask.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Experience in photography, web development, etc. is highly preferred.
