Summary:
The role of the Commerce Application Director is the second highest IT leadership role for Kelly-Moore. The Commerce Applications Director has complete ownership of the establishment and execution of the enterprise wide commerce strategy and ensures its alignment with the enterprise and IT strategy. The Director is responsible for the deliveries of the capablities required to achieve business success.
As a member of the IT leadership team, the Director particpates in and contributes to overall IT strategy, bringing currently knowledge and future vision of using retail information and technology in solution design, business process re-engineering, retail products and services development, and support for all the commerce applications technology stack.
Responsibilites:
Sets the mission and vision of the Commerce Applications to foster business-oriented culture and mindset.
Leads the development of the Commerce Applications strategy and roadmap; ensures its intergration with the IT strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans.
Acts as a trusted advisor and builds and maintains relationships with other business Directors and Managers to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and is able to respond with agility to changing business priorities.
Uses influencing and negotiation skills to create synergies across the enterprise and with external business partners to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in achievement of business goals.
Collaborates with company’s leadership to define and execute digital and mobile Commerce Applications business strategy. Participates in and contributes to the assessment of external digital opportunities and threats, and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired goals.
Maintains currency of new technologies and commerce platforms and provides direction on what emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduce within the enterprise to ensure Commerce solutions capabilities responds to the needs of the Kelly-Moore’s customers and operations.
Essential Tasks:
Directs and prioritizes consistency, maintainability, support, and innovation for physical store and online application solutions which include Retail.net, JPOS, ACI payment switch, Sovos Taxware, Salesforce clouds (Sales, Marketing, Commerce), Dell Boomi, ITSM.
Establishes and grows excellent partnerships with external partners to deliver outstanding IT solutions.
Leads IT project deliverables in opening/closing/changing physical store locations.
Maintains excellent ticketing system record in individual and group queues (changes, incidents, problems, knowledge articles)
Maintains projects and documentation in company’s sanctioned collaboration platforms.
