Texas Health Surgery Center Waxahachie is an ambulatory surgery center specializing in Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GI and ENT. We operate Monday through Friday, with 23-hour stay availability of Monday through Thursday.
]Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
SCA is seeking a CEO/Administrator to lead the team at Texas Health Surgery Center Waxahachie. The CEO is responsible and accountable for the oversight of safe patient care, clinical quality, business development, strategic planning, financial results, personnel recruitment/retainment, operational effectiveness, facility management, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of clinical and business professionals to achieve outstanding clinical results, physician, teammate and patient satisfaction along with oversight of the centerâs services and financial results.
- Works in collaboration with facility governance, medical director and physician partnership to develop and maintain effective strategic, programmatic and marketing plans to grow and maximize center outcomes.
- Manages financial results, multi-million-dollar P&L, financial controls, reporting and analysis
- Ensures quality outcomes, labor efficiencies, supply chain management, volume growth, revenue cycle optimization and regulatory accreditation/compliance.
- Oversees the physical assets, including building and equipment in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining key stakeholder relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs Degree Required
- Masterâs Degree Preferred
- Progressively responsible financial, personnel, operations management experience in a health care setting required
- Leadership experience with a concentration in surgical services is strongly preferred
- Prior experience demonstrating a high-level ability to effectively manage and allocate organization resources is required
- Operational management experience such as budgeting, financial management, clinical services management, credentialing, accreditation or similar required
- Demonstrate leadership ability, entrepreneurial skillset, project follow through, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and proven ability to interact well with physicians is required
- The ability to prioritize and function both efficiently and responsibly in emergent situations is required
