Carrier Relations Project Manager

Uniti Fiber is seeking an experienced, cross-functional project manager focused specifically on managing vendor orders from acceptance through provisioning. This position will have overall project responsibility and accountability to ensure that vendor services are delivered on time and in coordination with customer orders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor service orders (lit services and/or colocation services) from contractual purchase to service turn up.
• For customer specific vendor orders, coordinate with Service Delivery Project Managers to ensure a timely delivery of the vendor order to meet customer needs.
• For network infrastructure vendor orders, coordinate with Engineering and Operations team to ensure a timely delivery of the vendor order to meet Unifi Fiber needs.
• Process vendor disconnect orders in a timely fashion, ensuring review/approval of any early termination liabilities.
• Track major PM milestones and identify any jeopardies or issues so they may be addressed in a timely manner.
• Facilitate and conduct internal and external project management meetings, as needed.
• Efficient and productive use of any and all tools; i.e. Salesforce, Excel, Word, etc.
• Create regional project tracking mechanism, if required, to provide real time analysis of project status.
• Provide timely project updates to internal and external customers.
• Conduct trend analysis of projects to identify road blocks and areas of opportunity for improvement.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in project, program management experience.
• Minimum 5 years telecom network deployment and/or Operations experience.
• BA/BS degree required or comparable experience.
• Experience in access planning, network provisioning, or network planning highly valued.
• Experience with contract negotiation preferred.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Detail oriented.
• Relationship management – ability to develop and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
• Presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
