Newport Healthcare is a series of evidence-based healing centers for adolescents and families struggling with mental health issues. With locations across the United States, Newport Healthcare offers a family-systems approach, providing gender-specific, individualized, and comprehensive holistic programs that encompass clinical therapy, academic support, and experiential practices. We treat individuals, ages 12–18, who are experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, and substance abuse. Offerings include residential treatment, intensive outpatient programming, therapeutic day schools, and day treatment. ]Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Vice-President, Operations will be responsible for providing leadership and operational management within the region for which he/she is assigned to.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee all operational management issues within the region, including the continued development and achievement of the business plan, budget and key performance indicators (KPIs), and the analysis of activities, costs, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives.
- Drive EBITDA growth by creating efficiencies, motivating through a system of metrics and creating a culture of accountability.
- Serve as a business partner to the CEO in shaping and executing all operational decisions.
- Use a hand-on approach toward managing the organization’s operational teams in the field; responsible for continuing to drive the culture of customer service, quality, integrity and accountability.
- Champion a dynamic growth culture by driving revenue, profitability and initiatives aligned with the company’s mission, vision and values.
- Recruit, develop and retain key talent through coaching, training, and leadership development.
- Responsible for building and maintaining a “best-in-class” operations team at the business unit operating level of the company by creating a layer of sophistication and infrastructure, while motivating teams with a focus on drivers and metrics.
- Utilize core corporate functions (HR, clinical, financial, business development, etc.) to effectively manage the business; maintaining expenses and labor costs.
Qualifications:
Required Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or relevant discipline required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of business experience working in a similar healthcare services, distributed care business with responsibility for full P&L responsibility.
- Minimum of 5 years of prior leadership experience.
- Experience with de novo and roll-up strategies, directed rapid growth through both organic and M&A activity.
- Behavioral health experience required.
Experience in a health care services business that has marketed directly to the consumer is preferred.
