Summary:

This new position has been created to meet a significant need for clinical support to the Operations Division of Diamond. This position is critical to the clinical integrity of the behavioral health programs and services under Diamond’s management. The overriding goal for this position is the enhancement of the quality of clinical programming across the Diamond system.

Responsible for –

  • The overall clinical oversight and consultation for programming, regulatory readiness, documentation, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives of divisional assigned Psychiatric Units / Departments / Intensive Outpatient Programs.
  • Ensures high quality, high utilization and adherence to all areas assigned.
Travel is required. Prefer someone to live in Richmond VA but will consider remote with the VP of Clinical Services being at Corporate twice monthly.

This position reports to the Executive Vice President, Diamond Healthcare.

Position Requirements:

Education:
  • MSN, RN Licensure required.
  • Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP) certification preferred and is required after 1 year of employment.
  • Strong Medicare and CMS regulation knowledge required.

Prior Experience:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of acute care experience in clinical leadership or administrative, clinical or healthcare management position with an emphasis on experience in the field of behavioral health. Data integrity experience preferred.
