DEG is seeking a Project Manager to manage a portfolio of eCommerce Implementations projects for one or more clients, under the Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento and/or Shopify ecommerce platforms. Experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or Magento is required. In addition, this person will contribute to the development of processes and procedures aimed at improving overall delivery, consistency across project teams, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Overall discovery, planning and execution of projects, including setting deadlines at each stage and critical outputs delivery.
- Develop or update project plans such as project objectives, proposals, estimates, technologies, specifications, and staffing resources.
- Manage projects to ensure adherence to timeline, budget, schedule, and scope while paying close attention to quality, detail, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure high quality deliverables are met from requirements definition through testing and deployment.
- Prepare project status reports and weekly status updates monitoring hours and budget on projects measuring around projects through completion.
- Keeps project team well informed of changes within the client organization, business drivers, and success criteria.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
- Holds regular status meetings with project team Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
- Establish and execute a project communication plan.
- Create processes that improve project management and documentation efficiency, accuracy and reliability.
- Provide team leadership to cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing client facing projects based on a statement of work.
- Experience in managing competing priorities and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional management experience in either consulting or industry experience. Preferred industries include retail, wholesale, distribution or other commerce activities.
- 5+ years of experience managing large eCommerce system implementation projects and/or 3-4 years in a Project Management specific Team Lead role
- This role will require frequent traveling 25% of the time or more as needed.
- Expert in management and communication tools including MS Office, MS Project, Confluence.
- Experience understanding high level business requirements and building solid relationships
- Experience in delivery of project using mix PM methodologies including Scrum and Waterfall.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure
- Project Budget, Forecasting and tracking
- Highly organized and task driven with strong time management skills
- Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial in nature
- Solid understanding of Use Case Definition and Business Process Flows
- Enacts Consultative Professionalism principles when interacting with clients
- Strong analytical, research, and customer relation skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A diverse background that includes experience in both IT Consulting and Marketing Agency preferred.
