Job Summary
Position: Project Manager -Agile Infrastructure
Location: Shelton, CT
Duration: 1 year+ (C2H)
Position Description and Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience supporting infrastructure projects
- 2+ years working in an Agile / SCRUM / Kanban environment
- 2+ years managing projects and tasks using Jira and Confluence
- A solid understanding of infrastructure components (firewalls, routers, servers, databases, etc.)
- The ability to fluently and seamlessly partner with engineers on technical elements
- Maintains relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing (project plan, status reporting, resource planning, sprint burn down charts, etc.)
- Acts as an agile Project Manager with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work.
- Acts as a liaison between architects, engineers and operations and fosters better communication between the functions, ensuring cross-team coordination.
- Managing a wide variety of project teams focused on different aspects of the network infrastructure and keeping them on task to meet deadlines.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Must work well in a fast-moving high expectation environment
