Job Summary:[

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Vice President Program Operations and Partnerships leads and manages the Community Partnerships and Investments team, the Metrics team, and the Program Operations team for the organization and collaborates on enterprise-wide strategy and organizational work groups and decisions.

]Essential Duties & Responsibilities:[

  • Lead and manage the Community Partnerships team, including key program partner engagements and relationships.
  • Lead and manage the Program Metrics team including the organizational research and organizational impact strategy.
  • Lead and manage the Program Operations team that is focused on the seamless interface of different programs including technical, financial, and other critical projects.
  • Provide coordination and oversight in the development of strategic initiatives and special projects for the Programs team.
  • Provide integrated analysis and strategic consultation on major issues impacting the Programs team, and decisions regarding collaborative partnerships.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams as relevant to achieve specific outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison to key stakeholders and external parties on behalf of the Chief Program Officer (CPO).
  • Provide leadership to the teams in developing meeting agendas, ensuring pre-work is completed and distributed, and managing follow-up.
  • Work as part of the program management team in the annual planning process to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. Work closely with the CPO and Program management team in driving the annual planning process to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Work as part of the organizational executive team.
  • Prepare for related team and staff meetings to facilitate decision-making and clear communication about strategy and plans.
  • Participate in rollout of initiatives or information and serve as a primary contact for questions from the organization regarding programs.
  • Analyze and interpret grant proposals including financial and impact documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Seven years of leadership or staff management experience.
  • Five years of experience working with executive leadership.
  • Five years of experience working in a non-profit organization.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time including overnight and weekend travel.
Preferences
  • Master’s degree.
  • Five years non-profit or program evaluation experience.
